Religious Sunday!

Today, woke up bright and early @ 8:30, and got ready for church!
Since being in CH w/ MM, we've yet to find ourselves a church yet, so we've decided to start visiting all the local churches in order to find that we like and will fit into. Today was Fairmount Presb.
Arriving early for the 11am worship, we got a chance to relax and check out the architecture. That's what we love about CH and the surrounds, lots of history and with beautiful old churches and chapels. FP isn't much to look at from the outside, but the interior with old wooden vaulted ceiling, stained glass windows lining both sides of the church walls, and grand pipe organ adorning the ends of the church. It's what you would imagine a church would and should be. The hymns, the choir, the sounds of church, is all very compelling and moving. I'm glad MM and I again can worship the Lord in His house. Although the sermon is far from Erwin's soul stirring speeches.

To make it a truly religious Sunday, afterwards we headed to House of Blues for Gospel Brunch!! We were out there w/ the gang, and feasted on some truly awesome Southern Fare--all you can eat!! The HoB Gospel band is pretty cool, and we even got Social Butterfly and Silent-But-Deadly up onto stage!! MM will post some pix! The brunch was a whole ton of food...we were so stuffed that this one meal probably will sustain us for the whole day! Whew!

Rainy Day

I guess I should be blogging more frequently and write less. I just realized my last blog was too long and people probably get tired of reading one long post about some has-been rockers anyway.
I suppose I should be doing the BFL of blogging, heh! RD and MM knows what I'm talking about.
It's another rainy day here in the beautiful city of CH. MM and I actually just had lunch w/ our friends at a pho restaurant. Afterwards we drove through a nice part of town called "Fairmount", trying to find out the time to attend worship tomorrow morning. The city streets are kinda pretty in a wet, misty kind of way. But now we're both sleepy from the food and the dark rainy skies.
Looking forward to tomorrow b/c we'll be going to a Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues, should be fun and filled w/ yummy foods...
will blog more then.
I wonder how many ppl actually read my blogs besides MM and RD??
Please let me know if you read my blogs....that'll give me more motivation to blog more :P
