Night Out In Atlanta

So, while MM has had her share of business trips for the year, I finally went on my own this past June. The annual ASCO conference is the largest Onc conference. Just like any other major conference, expo, etc, tons of exhibitors, many different meetings, and booth babes galore. For some reason, I thought MD meeting would be above all that...but I guess not.

What was cool was I got to experience parts of Atlanta. I got to hang out w/ some of the SoCal (and ex-SoCal) peeps at this club called "The Compound." Sounds like a jail or something. Anyway, it had three different sections, and where we were at, the "booths" were actually these twin beds/bunks, or whatever you call them that lines one side of the dance floor. Certainly interesting to ppl watch, since it's been a long time since I've been clubbing. Highlight of the night: we saw Vanilla Ice perform at the club!
